Lily has spent the last 19 years studying classical ballet receiving most of her training from the Joffrey Academy of Dance in Chicago, as well as summer intensive training through faculties such as Miami City Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, and Ballet West. During this time she began to take special interest in strength training, and functional weight training to help enhance her athletic ability and as a beneficial form of injury prevention. After finishing her ballet career with Ballet Idaho, Lily moved back to Ohio where she began to pursue a career in personal training. Lily has obtained her certification as a Stretching and Flexibility coach as well as a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as well as completing a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course through YogaRenew.

Kara is the owner, certified doula and childbirth educator behind, Smile Doula, LLC. She is a wife and momma to 4 and has been supporting the Akron area for 15 years. She has a passion for all things childbirth but especially loves building relationships, working through fears, and educating on physiologic birth and options.

Kara’s passion started when she experienced an avoidable traumatic birth which led to postpartum anxiety and depression. She knew there had to be a better way and this lit a fire in her heart for birthing families and filling gaps. Kara understands the impact your birth experience has on your life and postpartum mental health, which is why she began educating. Allyson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Gwinnett College’s school of massage in Lawrenceville, GA in 2018 and is a licensed massage therapist by the Ohio State Medical board. In addition to specializing in neuromuscular therapy and sports massage, she uses a customized and unique approach to massage therapy.

Allyson’s massages include modalities such as: deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, Kinesiomuscular therapy, and assisted sports stretching. She also specializes in helping people find relief from TMJD symptoms with TMJ massage techniques. In addition to her other modalities, Allyson is also certified in Prenatal massage techniques to help make pregnancy more comfortable.
